in this principle that I believe that at this horrible age that we can see everywhere in the world poverty in spirit and physical body, the light of the Gospel can get even more effective than ever before.
So that we humbly pray that we go and do serve the poorest of the poor both in spirit and body. Because it is what God wants us to do.

「飢餓を終わらせる」・・・この(僕らが信じる)ビジョンは、過去最もひどく 飢餓・貧困が蔓延する 現代の世界において、夢物語のように聞こえてしまうかもしれない。
しかし、「光はやみの中に輝いている。やみはこれに打ち勝たなかった」（ヨハネ1：5）
と聖書が宣言しているとおりに、この世界の闇が暗くなればなるほど、福音はより輝きをます存在であり、その影響力は人知を越えて、無限に大きくなることも事実だね。

本当の「良い知らせ」を
世界の最も貧しい人たちへ、
もっとも必要を覚えている人たちへ、
最も自分をへりくだらせる人たちのところへ、
僕らも実際に行って、届けたいんだ。
ひたすら心からお仕えし続けるという形によって、生きた見ることのできる福音を、言葉と確かな行いによって、最も貧しい人たちへお伝えしていきたいんだ。
世界の最も貧しい人たちへ、
もっとも必要を覚えている人たちへ、
最も自分をへりくだらせる人たちのところへ、
僕らも実際に行って、届けたいんだ。

福音って何だろう？
他国にいる最も貧しい人たちに知ってもらいたい。体験してもらいたい。
聖書の神は決して彼らを見捨てられていないこと、
どのような時も、神は変わらず良き方であり続けるること、
すべての必要を、必ず満たしてくださる方であること・・・
僕らはどうしても伝えたい。彼らに体験しつづけてほしい、神が愛であること。(Iヨハネ4:8)
そして、僕らも彼らを愛してることを。 彼らが僕らの兄弟、姉妹であることを。
豊川教会の皆様、妹がなんとついこないだまで夏期派遣に来ていた教会でした。
