Greek Club in every morning/早朝ギリシャ語クラブ

Forgot all Greek that you studied even a semester ago? Come and join us!

 For the first time in many weeks, I happened to attend an early prayer meeting at Chapel at APNTS, you know what have I found? it a Greek Club.. Ptr/Dr. Jason H. (My passionate pastor at International Felloship and Greek teacher at APNTS) hosts it. Usually we start a Bible reading and prayer  for 30 mnts each then, we organize a little Greek Club for another 30 mnts over little breakfast with donated Pandesals and coffee. We indeed enjoy reading the original texts of N.T. and finding powerful truths as parsing and theologizing about topics spontaneously come out.  Our purpose of this? We want to get used to dealing with Greek or you will never like it after you leave your school. Correct?　ギリシャ語って結局使わなくてもやっていけるじゃん？とどうどうと思っているあなた。ちょっと待って！ギリシャ語でも毎日使うなら結構なれて、感で読めるようになりますよ。(僕はちょびっとですが....)それを実現したのが早朝祈祷会(5a.m~)+ギリシャ語クラブ(6am~)。毎日恵まれて、ただでギリシャ語勉強できます。平日の毎朝、APNTS（僕の通っている神学校）のチャペルでありますが、これ僕も将来ずっとつづけていきたいなぁって本気で思ってます。(ギリシャ語カフェでもオープンしたいですね。）焼きたてパンデサル（フィリピンでもっとも安いパンで一つ５円）とホットコーヒーが待ってますよ。ご一緒にいかがですか？

「フフフ...なかなか早いね、君たち。まぁ、しかたがないけど」(Hummm..by the way, you guys came here in such an early hour, well,  I gotta be glad of this though... )

♪"Happy Birthday to Dear Floyd(フロイドせんせい)"♪

ぶっつけで"Happy Birthday"をラッパで、室内で寝ている学長の耳元ねらって吹きました。あとで、こわっ！I blew my trumpet at his very ears, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be scolded later." 

この日だけ、女性の方々も独身の学長の家に入ってもよいことになりました。"Well, only today you, ladies may be allowed to enter to such a sanctified place like here"

Nakade夫妻も間に合いました。ちっころいおむすび大好評でしたよ。

♪Happy Birthday Sir!♪と学長のフロイド　カニングガム先生の家に今日未明、20人ぐらいの学生、教師たちと共に押しかけサプライズパーティーを開きました。

　"This birthday has become memorable to me, I won't forget this for many years"（今回の誕生日はとても記念になりました。何年もこのことを忘れないでしょう。）とフロイド先生がにやっとしながらも、意味深長におっしゃってました。"この"many years"の後、彼はいつかこのことを忘れるつもりですか？”と、密かに思いつつも、楽しい朝ご飯のひとときを持つことができました。僕はこの場で、いつか彼を日本の天然温泉にお招きすることをみんなの前で宣言してしまいましたが、必ず実行したいと今から計画を練ってます。ご一緒に行かれたいかたはぜひご一報くださいね。Before the dawn, we interrupted our president's peaceful sleep with my Cornet, the Guitar and joyful singing sang by many of my friends who love him, Dr. Cunningham. at the end of the party, I invited him for  a hot spring by the time he needs to go to Japan next. "Sir, let's go back to the state just as we were originally made. Enjoy our nakedness at a public spa. You will patronize it" you wanna come with us?
