Based on Joel Osteen's message 5/21/2010
Heb 13:5-6 (He has always final says),
"because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you."
So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?""
I was so touched to hear this message from Joel Osteen so I just tried to share it with you...
When we suffer, rather than magnifying your problems, let us learn to magnify God's promises! Since He is faithful and obligated to keep His own words, He will surely bring what he has said down for you.
E.g. One day Jeff and Brad, friends of Joel Osteen in Texas decided to go fishing with a small boat,
"Hey, brad, let's go to a different spot!"
brad's father, a fisherman said, "In case if you get lost out there, just keep heading back for "north".
"Got it, Dad!! Thanks!"
They were an hour out of the shore and enjoying fishing. Fish was biting right and left.
After awhile they did not realize suddenly thick fog surrounded them and it got already dark! They totally lost the direction.
Jeff said, "All my reasoning, thinking and analysis say, "this is the right way to go home",
but Brad pointed at the opposite direction..."I guess this is the right!"
but Brad remembered what his father, a real fisherman at the shore said,
"When you get lost you go north then you will get right back here!" He decided "we will go north!"
Brad picked up a compass and started going "North"
While Jeff were nagging and complaining behind Brad like "Why do don't listen to me? If you'd followed my direction, we would've gotten home by now", but he just kept going north 30, 45, an hour and another hour...
By the moment they almost gave up on it, they finally could see a beautiful shore of Texas!!
Friends! When foggy situation happens, it is extremely important whose voice you are going to listen to!! Brad and Jeff decided to listen to and trust the word of the father of Brad, a fisherman who knows everything of the direction around there!!!
So encourage yourself, you can always go with God's voice!!! when your due time comes, you will realize God is bringing you to the right place by seeing the shore; the very solution!!
Stop nagging like shouting,"LORD! get me out of here" no, no yet calm down, take God's promises and remind God of His words, "LORD because you said this and that, I will expect you to do what you said to me. Amen."
Since God is faithful and the Bible says "He is your helper! When no one and nothing seem to help you in your darkest hours, remember God will help you out of its pit!!! What can man and any situation can get you devastated!!
Prayer: My father! thank you because you have said so, it has been already fulfilled in my life. when my due time comes I will with bare naked eyes be able to see the destination I need and thrive there!!! Praise the LORD!!
誰の言葉を最も信頼するの？
ヘブル13：5-(ゴロで覚えよう）（言(1)われた、最(3)終の言(5)葉を; He has always final says)
「主は、「わたしは、決してあなたを離れず、あなたを捨てない」と言われた。
だから、わたしたちは、はばからずに言おう、「主はわたしの助けぬ主である。
わたしには恐れはない。
人は、わたしになにができようか」」
最近ジョエル・オスティーンとう牧師のメッセージを聞いて、とても感動して心が奮えたよ。なので簡単にみんなにもシェアーしたいです。
僕たちが試練に直面する時、大抵はその問題をどうして処理したらよいものかと、頭を抱え込んでてしまいがちです。
でも神様は、試練の中だからこそ、僕たちに神様がどのような約束の言葉を与えておられるのかに焦点を思いっきり当ててほしいと願われておられます。
なぜなら神様はこれまで、ご自分の発した発言のすべてが、歴史上に、また一個人の上に必ず実現していくことを、非常に大切にしてこられました。
それは、ご自分の言葉の信頼性、また言葉への誠実性を人に変わることなく示したいからでした。
なので神様の言葉は100％叶えられてしまうのです。それを信じる人の上にだけ。
さて・・・
例：ある日、テキサス州のある所で、ジェフとブレッドは魚釣りにいくことにしました。そしてブレッドの父は漁業をしていて海のプロなので、ブレッドは父から出発前にアドバイス をもらいました。
父は言いました。「たとえ沖で迷ったとしても、あわてなくていいんだよ。ただまっすぐ北に向かってボートを進めてごらん。必ずまっすぐこの岸へもどってくることができるから」
「ふーん、オッケーありがとう」と、ブラッドは親友のジェフと一緒に沖へと向かっていきました。
彼らは岸から一時間ほど離れた場所に来ていました。つりを楽しんで、魚が右から、左からとじゃんじゃん釣れました。でも気がついたら、深い霧につつまれ、当たりはすっかり暗くなって、自分たちがどこにいるのか分からなくなって困り果ててしまいました。
ジェフは確信を持って言いました。「僕の考え・思い・分析のすべてで「この方角が家に戻る方向だ！」
すぐ様ブレッドも反対の方向を指して言いました。「いや、反対のこっちが正しい方向だと思う。」「じゃぁ、どっちだよ！」
一体どちらが正しいんでしょう？
そんな時、ブレッドは、漁師の父が行った言葉を思い起こしました。「迷ったら、ただ北へ進むんだよ。そうしたら戻れるよ」と。
ブレッドはコンパスを取り出し、とにかく北へとボートを進めました。
ボートが北へ向かっていく間、ジェフは「ああ〜そっちじゃないっていってるだろう？！まちがったらどうするんだ。引き返す燃料はもうないんだぞ。」などとず〜と背後でつぶやいていました。
でも30分、45分、1時間、そして更にもう1時間とたつ内に、なんと、あのテキサスの美しい岸辺が見えたのでした。
みんなの人生の中でも、霧に覆われ、どっちにすすんでいいか全く分からず、不安に押しつぶされそうになる時があります。でもここでもっとも大切な教訓は、「だれの言葉をもっとも信頼しますか？」です。
それは、ジェフの声(友達・周りの声)？自分の声？それともその道を知り尽くしている専門家？この場合は漁師であったブレッドの父だったよね。
イエスさまこそが、この天地とこの世界にあるすべてを知り尽くしてる専門家だよ。（ヨハネ14:6）
実践：効果のある祈り方があるってホント？
神様に祈る時「あ”〜ぁ、神様、助けてくれ！」って泣き叫ぶよりも、もっと神様が心を動かされる方法があるんです。
それは、神様の約束された具体的な言葉をもって、神様に思い出していただくことです。（もちろん神様がご自分の言葉を忘れることはありません。でもそれを聞いて神様は、僕たちの内に「信仰」をみることができるんです。）
「神様、私の祈りを聞いて下さってありがとうございます。「あなたは私の助け主です」と聖書に約束されています。だから、あなたは必ずこの私をこの試練から助けて下さると、100％期待して信じます。アーメン」のようにです。
このように神ご自身が言われた言葉によって祈るとき、神様は心を動かされます。
ジェフとブレッドは「北へ」の言葉を信じて、自分の声も、周りの声にも耳を貸さず、進み続け、相応しいタイミングが来た時に、彼らは岸に着くことができました。
神様の言葉をなによりもにぎりしめて歩む時、神様が用意して下さっている相応しいタイミングがやってきます。
その時ベストな答えをもって、神様はあなたの祈りに必ず答えて下さいます。なぜなら、神様はご自身の言葉に賭けて、無限の力で、奇跡を起こしてでも必ずその言葉を実行されるからです。
